Products and Services

Botox is a toxin that inhibits muscular contraction. Therefore, it relieves painful muscular conditions and helps to lessen the appearance of dynamic wrinkles (wrinkles caused by expression – frown lines, crow’s fee etc.). Its action lasts approximately three months, after which the injections are repeated.

Dermal Fillers are Hyaluronic Acid containing substances that are injected in facial areas. This can be done to restore volume loss to the face due to ageing, as well as certain wrinkles and obvious facial fold lines.

Areas, such as the lips, can be made more defined or to look fuller with fillers. Fillers last for approximately 9 months, after which the injections are repeated.

Microneedling is done with a device called a “Dermapen”. The Dermapen consists of a set of needles that painlessly puncture the surface of the skin. This stimulates the fibroblasts to lay down more collagen, leading to “plumper” and younger looking skin.

It can also treat pigmentation and certain facial scars.

LED phototherapy is the non-invasive use of continuous light (rather than light pulses). Different wavelengths are used to treat various skin conditions from ageing skin to acne. This is administered in local areas with a light or can be used in a ‘mask’ that covers the whole face. The entire area is then lit with a color of light, depending on the indication. Due to increased cell regeneration, the area can then improve in appearance after several sessions.

A chemical peel is used to improve the appearance of the skin of the face, neck and hands.  A chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes the dead, old skin cells to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new skin that appears is then smoother. Different depths of peels can be performed, depending on the indication. Chemical peels are used to treat fine lines, acne scars, pigmentation, age spots and other signs of aging.

Hilotherapy is the administration of cooling water set at a desired temperature, through a closed-circuit unit. The unit keeps the water temperature constant. A disposable mask is applied on the desired area, while the water circulates through it.

Using a device called a plasma pen a plasma plume is emitted that inflicts a controlled, superficial burn to the upper layer of the skin. The small electrical arc leaves a very small brown mark without causing bleeding or damage to the surrounding tissue. The cells of the connective tissue is stimulated to produce collagen as well as elastin which determine the elasticity of the skin. The result is skin tightening and more youthful appearance.

Scars, stretch marks, acne marks, skin tags, warts, moles and freckles respond particularly well to plasma pen technology. In most cases a slighter less intense arc is used. Treatment times will depend on the size of the area treated or the amount of skin growths to be removed. The depth of scars and stretch marks will determine if follow-up treatments will be required.

Mesotherapy is a relatively new buzz word in the weight loss, cellulite and wrinkle reduction world. Mesotherapy typically consists of numerous injections of variable depth delivering the desired medication into different layers of the skin and the subcutaneous tissue.

The medications used for skin rejuvenation stimulates the skin cells to produce more and better quality collagen and hyaluronic acid. The mixture injected than stimulates a better skin helath causing wrinkle improvement, skin tightening, hydration and skin radiance. The medications used in slimming cause shrinkage of fat cells by dissolving fat. The fat is then excreted through the urine and bowels. Mesotherapy can also improve the appearance of cellulite (fibrous bands that tent the skin). Cellulite is reduced by decreasing the size of the trapped fat cells.

It is important to realize that mesotherapy mostly requires a course of treatment and then a maintenance period.

PDO Threadlift a non-surgical, no scar facelift / threadlift performed using tiny surgical threads that will reabsorb / dissolve over time but will have prolonged rejuvenation effects due to maximal collagen stimulation. Normal skin aging progresses with formation of fine lines and wrinkles by destroying elastic and collagen tissue in epidermis. By boosting cell regeneration with multi-strand threads, one can improve dermal elastin and collagen tissue Instead of removing the patient’s loose facial skin surgically, the cosmetic surgeon simply suspends it by stitching up portions of it. This has the effect of pulling the skin back slightly and therefore lifting and tightening the face. In addition to being ideal for lifting the skin, threads combat aging in another way: by provoking the body’s “healing response” and causing the body to direct large surges of collagen to treated areas. This is important because of the vital role collagen plays in the aging process.

Patients who have a thread lift for the purpose of stimulating collagen will notice a gradual improvement in their skin’s tone and firmness. While their threads are in place, the body’s healing response will be constantly activated because the body will want to “heal” the sutured areas and expel the sutures. The body is biologically programmed to react this way when it senses any foreign object present within the dermis. Fortunately, because the threads placed under the skin during a thread lift are so small, the patient will not feel any of this happening. Most people cannot feel their sutures at all once the skin has healed around them.
